Happy Birthday To Me

Next Saturday is my birthday and last night I bought myself a present.Everyone who knows me knows I am not a big jewelry person but I have always wanted a Black Mystic Fire Topez I love the colors, and really I never knew the real name of the stone till last night when I saw this one:

My ring has deeper tones and more colors...its beautiful and it will be back from sizing in time for my birthday. It is so unlike me to just buy a ring but I decided I was worth it!

Oh Gail, you absolutely deserve a new bauble, Of course the ulterior motive is: instead of people staring at your upper lip, you can use the ring to draw attention to your finger instead. Problem solved, no traumatized children, snickering dogs or sympathetic women. Tee hee tee hee

PS you deserve the matching necklace and earrings too.

good for you.. BUT always remember certain stones are bad luck if it's not your birhtstone or a gift from someone..I know it's bad luck to buy opals unless it's your birthstone.. but none the less enjoy i'm happy with my cleaver..

Buying jewelry is one of the seven stages of healing.

It falls right behind buying new clothes.

And there's no such thing as bad luck when shopping. :-)
