Moving Forward

Finally I think we are moving forward. Rob and I signed the divorce papers. I think it is good now that it is over, finally we can all move on. There was only one major blow up during the visit which was expected there is always something you know but now I no longer have to allow him to stay at my house. That in it's self is a HUGE relief. The best part of the visit is that Rob and Alyssa are finally having some sort of relationship. Lin will take bit more time.

I do not love him living in the states. Now that he is state side he calls way too much. Seems moving is stressful. You think? I did all of it when we use to move he just went to work. Guess you never really know how much work something is till you have to do it yourself. I will say this he does have a lot on his plate right now. Rob has a new fiancé, ( this I believe is number 4 or is it 5 hard to keep track)They knew each other 2 months before she informed him he was going to be a daddy again. He is thrilled HAHAHAHAHA sorry I find it all so damn funny. Now he is working very hard on getting a Visa for her so she can have the baby in the US. He seems to think it will only take 3 months to accomplish this goal. Who am I to rain on that parade? My only concern is how the girls will feel about all of this. I don’t want them to feel as if they are being replaced.
As for me class is going great, and work is busy, I won’t know if the position I have now will become full time until about July so keep your fingers crossed. I really enjoy this job. The girls are doing good in school and it is almost summer time!!

Gail,
I am so glad that part of your life is behind you. You have 2 beautiful daughters from him, but that is all. ( You do know what we call that right?) I always say What goes around, comes around and it looks like he will be getting his in spades TeeHee. The best part is, you can move forward without looking back and have no regrets. You have been a wonderful mother and will continue to be the strong role model they need. As for the "new addition" the girls can never be replaced and he knows that, his track record sucks as far as fiancee's go so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I do think I would change my cell phone number though. Let him call the house between the hours of 9am-9pm Monday through Friday and 11am - 9pm on the weekends. This would be stipulated only to talk to the girls, you are no longer his nanny!!!! So Proud of you, you have Class!!!!! Will say a prayer the job is available and I hope you are taking some sort of a vacation this year. Love you Jul

I'm so glad to hear that part of your life is behind you now! You're a strong and amazing woman and I admire all your courage. I can't believe how big(and grown up!!) the girls are. They are beautiful, just like their Mom. Inside and out! And I agree on that vacation!!
